I went to Bestbuy at the Geeks quad where I had a Totaltech membership for five years at 199 per year and never used it I was told to buy a new phone and that my laptop that was going to cost $180 and out for FIVE weeks. I left the Best buy manager an email but, you guessed it, he will never call me... I shared this story to all my friends and shared what'd YouBreak info to my Whatapp friend. Thanks again

Incredibly professional & knowledgeable shop!!!!! I was a walk in after dropping my phone and I had another replacement I wanted to transfer all the data from old phone to a new one but since the phone was broken I wasn't able to use the screen at all, I did first go to my cellphone carrier & they said there was nothing they could do to help. I was heartbroken because majority of my pictures weren't backed up 😭💔 as soon as I walked in to What'd You Break I was greeted right away and as I was explaining my situation a solution was already being figured out even before I finished my sentence (extremely knowledgeable). My phone was then connected and I was able to access through their comp. I was then able to transfer all the data to the new replacement phone & got all my pictures!!!!!! Such an excellent customer service and with extremely fair pricing. I will only use their shop for all electronic repairs going forward. We have a gem in Marina and it is called "What'd you Break". Thank you for all the great work you do!!!!! Cannot recommend them enough!

Unfortunately, I've had to come here a couple times for my phone screen. I hope you never need to come here, but, if you do, you're in excellent hands. The crew here is very friendly and knowledgeable, and seem very honest. I hope I never see them again, but, I won't be too disappointed if I do! Wonderful business! :)

I’ve used their services twice in the past 2 months thanks to my teenage kids. The first time it was a cracked iPad screen that was fixed the same day I took it in. And today I took an iPhone that mysteriously stopped working and it’s less than 2 years old and again they fixed it within hours of taking it in. Their prices are very reasonable.

I work on computers and I still choose to bring electronics here. I worked in hardware repair when everything was screwed together, that's no longer the case. When I have a client with a broken iPad, that client becomes a What'd You Break client too.

Incredibly professionally run repair shop. I brought in a broken Nintendo Switch on a Monday just before close, and after a free quote, they were able to fix it and have it back to me by Wednesday morning. Fair pricing, and excellent customer service. I will only use their shop for all electronic repairs going forward.

This is the ONLY repair store I will be coming to as long as they are in business! Brought in a DSLR Camera, even though it wasn't on their normal repair list. I expected about $150 in repair costs, and 5 day fix time.... these legends called me back an hour later to pick it up at a FRACTION of the cost of every other shop in the area. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you!!

This guy was great, the opposite of what I have, sadly, come to expect in the way of customer service in today’s business environment. No “Covid”/“supply chain” excuses. The guy picked up the phone when I called and talked to me. Imagine that! I described the problem I was having with my phone. He listened, told me two things that could be the problem and gave me instant cost estimates for both scenarios. When I got there and he looked at my phone, he told me within two minutes that the problem was most likely not with my phone but with my life proof case - the microphone slot was blocked with grime. He removed the case, tested the microphone, and found it to be working just fine. Problem solved; no charge. He could have easily taken my phone for an hour, done nothing but remove the case, and had me come back, thinking he’d done an internal repair. But he was too full of integrity for that. I totally appreciate that kind of service and that kind of honesty. I would recommend this business to anyone on the Monterey Peninsula.
